SAAS UK - Anti Bullying Campaign
SAAS UK provide hate crime & cyber bullying workshops and training awareness talks. Our workshops are run by people with disabilities who have had life experiences of cyberbullying, hate & mate crime. We also provide completely free & private online support via our live chat & forum.
So far we have reached over 500 people in Staffordshire with our workshops and we have had great feedback from charities, colleges and universities. if you would like training please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
Last year we had funding from the National Lottery to put on six workshops. The workshops were aimed at people with Autism and disabilities.
Cyberbullying or cyberharassment is a form of bullying or harassment using electronic means
The term trolling stems from the internet slang 'troll', which is a person who starts arguments or upsets people by posting inflammatory, extraneous messages online.
Hate crimes are any crimes that are targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that person
Mate Crime is defined as the exploitation, abuse or theft from any vulnerable person by those they consider to be their friends
How To Report
There are several ways you can report a hate crime, whether you have been a victim, a witness, or you are reporting on behalf of someone else:
